Roop Singh is a technology strategist and privacy advocate. He believes that having agency over own digital identity data is a fundamental human right. In this talk, he offers an ingeniously simple demonstration of how blockchain can and will help us regain agency over our data while facilitating digital commerce.

    Roop has more than a decade of experience architecting systems and processes that drive efficiencies and change at Fortune 1000 companies and startups alike. Roop drew upon these experiences to develop the Blockchain Strategy Bootcamp, a multidisciplinary educational program that combines strategy, innovation, business architecture and technology to evolve new business models and uncover new markets.

    He is the founder of Intuit Factory, an education and consulting firm and the co-founder of Genesis Blox, a blockchain-enabled identity startup. Roop believes that users should have agency over their own data.
