Tik Tok is a Chinese company, but when Trump tried to falsely claim it was a national security threat, then tried to shut it down in the US, unless they sold the tech to an American company, Tik Tok didn't simply deny the accusations, they did that and claimed they were the targets of a corrupt US gov and the fact that millions of America young people use it, I suspect also played a role in the courts agreeing and Tik Tik continues to thrive in this claimed capitalist society. Trump even appealed, but that never affected Tik Tok bc no injunction was ever granted to stop it to begin with. Infact XRP has a currency ruling so again coinbase and others are voluntarily not trading XRP out of political fear of the Sec and not bc the SSEC has established it being a security so an appeal would mean they lost so the status quo would be it's a currency which it has been declared prior to Bill Hinman arbitrary and contradicting claims otherwise.
