Many Middle eastern "Islamic" countries are just pawns of world banks not to mention many of them are under very strict dictators. So them not wanting decentralized technologies to disrupt their capability to wield power is not surprising.
Hi Jeff, about the Coinbase BTC fee, you can deposit to GDAX first and then to the exchange. Both transfers are free, transfer to GDAX is instantaneous. I sent BTC 3 times this way and it took ~1hr in average. 16USD fee on 200USD transfer is really insane.
Are you kidding me? you are basing your investments on the name? looking for a good investment by name? batshit crazy!! Even checking out websites and white papers is still basing investments on blind faith. I could write a great blurb post a webpage on any type of crypto currency. download a whitepaper and tweak it to sound fantastic.

Why not buy LTC at cb and then transfer to binance, sell for btc, buy alts.
