AMAZING! I dont think he should be arrested and put in jail….but I think giving it back and maybe getting a small % as a bounty isnt unreasonable. Id much rather friendlyish coders to find exploits than North Korea.
I feel like crypto is going to die soon, all this bankrupcies + everything has been made complicated, exchange, Oracle, smart contract, cold wallet, they made the crypto world too complicated for the common citizen, ya keep talking about how decentralized is good but all people see are scammers and Ponzi creators and I understand them after all the bad events that occured since Bitcoin exist, we can't even count the number of scams that happened and how many billions that got stolen by those guys who are supposed to have understood everything better than everybody but are just vulgar thieves…
It seems the DOJ can't decide if crypto is a commodity or a security. Smart lawyers will probably point this out in court eventually.

The easiest way to tell a white hacker from a black hacker is that the white hat will return all of the funds and just ask for a payment as a cybersecurity contract, or even better just hack for hacking bounties for the DAOs and companies that have hacker bounties.
