      As an Argentinian, I can tell that dollarization is likely the only option that Argentina has to avoid our politicians monetizing deficit.

      Regarding Javier Milei's view on Bitcoin and crypto in general. I can tell that he truly believes in it. He has argued many times about money being a private and not a gubernamental invention, and because of that he supports it.

      It's also true that he isn't really convinced that Bitcoin could survive the central bank's financial warfare.

      But who knows, maybe he will legalize the use of Bitcoin in the country. Personally I think it will be a very nice move. Only the future can tell.

      I miss the days when Guy and Coin Bureau did videos about new crypto projects, and would do deep dives into the project and its tokenomics. Every video now is just about regulations and such.

      Argentinian here. Rooting for Milei, hoping he becomes president for the sake of this wonderful country, so full of supressed potential. Our trad politicians are 18-carat crap and must be thrown away. I'm hoping he embraces crypto and makes Bitcoin legal tender. That would be great for Argentina and for Bitcoin, and would be a signal to the rest of the world, as we are massive exporters of commodities and IT related services. He could be a global tide turner for freedom and crypto.

      I'm from Argentina. Milei likes Bitcoin, but he's not a bitcoiner IMO. If he gets to run this country, Argentina will be more open to BTC, but it will not be declared legal tender anytime soon.

      As an Argentinian I would say that this report is pretty accurate. A few things to keep in mind: the price of BTC pumped not because of Javier Milei winning the primary elections (where people decide which candidate is going to go to the final elections for each party), but because of the 22% devaluation the IMF forced Argentina to do. Argentina received the largest loan in the IMF history during Mauricio Macri's campaign for re-election because the Trump administration supported their (lack of) sovereignty policy, unhearing the recommendations of the European members of the board. During that campaign Argentina lost this money (57 billion USD) against the carry trade abuse that the Macri government allowed and then lost the elections of 2019 against the actual president Alberto Fernandez. Now the IMF sets the rules of monetary policy in Argentina by extorting the country, which depends on their disbursements to avoid a full scale crisis. The IMF's recipy (devaluation and budget cuts on pensions and public services, well known for destroying any possibility of growth on every country they are involved) is bringing inflation even higher, as they don't have a clue about how Argentina's economy works.

      I live in Argentina, and the middle and high class, we save money in dollars for the last 70 years, yet, low class is always the first to be affected by inflation, there is no scape for them. Anyway, they still vote socialism printing machines!

      Argentinian here, first of all, why would you use WU at a middle rage when you can sell usdt human to human. ✌ If Milei wins were fucked, goodbye economic autonomy, goodbye free education and health in a country with 40% poverty. We should make a descentralised Argentinian peso Stablecoin, govern it through a DAO and save our economic independence with blockchain tech
