Do folks ever sell itm options with the hope they expire without being exercised?
I have some calls too deep itm for me to consider buying back. There’s 7 days or something like that until expiration, and they haven’t been exercised yet, makes me wonder how often contracts expire itm without being exercised.

All ITM options are automatically exercised at expiration, unless the holder explicitly requests otherwise.
