Wife’s Student loan payment while overseas

I just moved overseas with my wife and I found out that my wife will not be able to keep her job. She was working remote, but her employer will not allow her to work in another country. (We previously thought this wasn’t an issue) the job market it not great over here and my wife will probably not be able to find a job while we are here. (Base jobs are not abundant and she doesn’t speak the local language so she can’t work in the local economy) She has student loans that we cannot afford without her income. I’ve heard of programs where if you move overseas for the military, then you can get your student loans deferred. When we called the loan office to ask if they did this they said they did not. Because of the nature of her loans we are not able to refinance. Thankfully this is the only debt we have. What are our options?
