Hello everyone, I have been working at a large firm for the past 9 months as an associate claims specialist. I work in the employee benefits division, responsible for processing and managing employee benefit claims and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. l also assist employees with inquiries related to their benefits and collaborate with insurance providers to resolve any issues that may arise during the claims process.

I was required to obtain my Life & Heath Insurance license within 6 months of being hired. I also have a bachelors degree in Biology.

I'm just wondering what my career path options are, l would like to get into some form of insurance underwriting if that's possible. What kind of certifications would I need to do so?

What career options do I have as a claims specialist?
