Sigh, I’m gonna explain this again. That dump at the end of the day was the big funds closing their hedges. Vix has been somewhat artificially smooshed. When they do this, which they do bc all the monthly options expire tommorrow, VIX is essentially a loaded gun. More times than not the market tanks at OPEX expiration, because the S and P has been propped up by MMs open positions required to maintain Delta neutrality. There’s a good chance tommorrow is gonna suck for any stocks considered risky(tech, crypto, high vol stonks) as well.
