I am looking to cancel my state farm car insurance but there is a remaining balance on my account. If I cancel will I have to pay the entirety of the balance or just a portion?

Auto insurance premiums are “earned,” that means you only pay for the time they’re actually insuring you. If you’re cancelling early you’ll get the unearned premium refunded to you.
