I am considering purchasing a car for personal, non business related use through my LLC due to tax incentives (federal electric vehicle rebate).
I am wondering whether I would be required to procure commercial auto insurance since it’s purchased under the LLC, although it’s for personal use only? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

The carrier I work for requires a commercial policy if the vehicle is registered to an LLC, no way around it. Only way for you to know is speak with a broker or do your own quotes. Make sure you’re honest about the registration to avoid denials of any claim in the future.
