I've been learning about successful people like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Larry Ellison. They all seem to think and make decisions using logic and first principles. But on YouTube, business gurus talk a lot about things like manifestation, "fake it till you make it," and personal development.

What do you think about these different ways of becoming successful? What has been your experience?

Elon was a son of a wealthy man so was gates and Jeff had a full support of his parents with a 300k at that time so I believe you now know which logic we’re referring to

Its different from one person to another.

Success comes down to your own habits, thoughts, mindset, beliefs and actions. To manifest or to create it’s going to require attention and usually changes in those things.

Different type of success. Jim Carrey, Oprah, Dana White, Izzy, all are heavy believers in manifestation. Connor Mcgregor too. Whatever float your boat

    4. When you explain how Elon manifested his parents’ emerald mine and two college degrees (physics, economics), you’ll have the answer you want.

In the meantime, take a look at [The less-than-magical Willy Wonka event, briefly explained](https://www.vox.com/technology/2024/2/28/24086217/willy-wonka-glasgow-scotland) because this is where magical thinking can take your *fake it ’til you make it* asses. Artificial Intelligence figures prominently, and I have to consider how AI-equipped whimsies such as this will play a critical part in replacing thought, going forward.

TIL People love reading about celebrity entrepreneurs, especially skipping over anything resembling work or adequacy.

Success: Is it a Science or a Magic Trick? 🧙‍♂️

I’ve pondered this question while binge-watching Elon Musk interviews and scrolling through Instagram manifestation memes. 🤔 It’s like choosing between a rocket scientist’s manual and a wizard’s spellbook! Logic and first principles, like those used by Musk, Bezos, and Ellison, undeniably build rockets and empires. But sometimes, a little “fake it till you make it” adds that extra sparkle. 🌟

In my experience, a mix works best. You need the solid foundation of logic to make strategic decisions, but a dash of confidence and positive thinking can turn those plans into reality. Balancing both is like making the perfect smoothie: 60% logic, 30% hustle, and 10% pure magic! ✨

Stop comparing yourself to people who inherited madsive amounts of money. Look for paths people like yourself have taken.

You can believe in manifestation and still use logic to make decisions. Both work to some extent. But it takes way more than just those things to build massively successful busineses.
