L fund for your retirement year is plenty good but I do 100% C fund as I find L fund too conservative and I think international markets are will be down for the time being. Contribute as much as you can while still living life.

If you’re single there’s not many other situations where you’ll have fully disposable income, conventional wisdom recommends at least around 15% but you could do more now and reduce contributions in the future when you have kids, need to pay for their college and needs etc.

    2. If lazy/dont want to ever have to mess with it. L fund of your retirement date. It should now default to an L fund instead of G though and thats pretty good.

If not, some C/S/I split. Nobody can give you a perfect answer on the absolute best split unless they came from the future and know the returns. Find a % split you like and run with it.

Stay away from G and F unless closer to retirement. They are low risk and low gains.

    3. I like following warren buffet who stresses the sp500. What does that mean? C fund
