Hey everyone,

I'm running a small manufacturing unit and I'm facing a challenge in finding international B2B buyers for my products. I've been exploring some options like B2B marketplaces (Alibaba) and social media marketing (LinkedIn) but haven't had much luck yet.

I'm wondering if any experienced folks here have some advice for connecting with international buyers. Here are some approaches I've been considering:

    • Attending relevant international trade shows.
    • Reaching out to government export assistance programs.
    • Working with a manufacturer's representative, trading company, or agent/broker: I've heard these can be helpful, especially for navigating the complexities of international trade. Has anyone had success working with agents or brokers?

Additionally, I'm open to exploring other strategies! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm hoping this is the right subreddit for my question! If not, I apologize in advance.

    Please Help!!

I know everyone jumps at the LinkedIn bandwagon when it comes to B2B, but you shouldn’t dismiss Facebook ads, imo. Most 30+ are on Facebook and the dang thing is good at finding the right audience for your ads. I’ve seen good results with my B2B clients in comparison to LinkedIn and Google ads. Do a test run and focus on one locale and one audience to see how it’ll go. If you get leads, you’ll know to double down on the channel. The right message/angle is important in FB, so make sure to think long and hard before hitting the publish button.

With my experience in manufacturer business, to connect with customer internationally. You need to target and customize your key messege to match with your target customer. Same product and one key messege to try advertise and connect with countries could fail miserably. Be careful

What are you selling friend? Or capable of manufacturing?

Also, I think Reddit would be a potentially great place for you in the Etsy/Shopify/POD space, if you make similar products.

    4. Hey!

Here my take I also run a b2b business and to connect with international buyers I attend relevant trade shows, I use government export assistance programs, and work with reputable agents or brokers. After all of this i do a lots out cold calling and email outreach for me this is really helpful.

For my email automation i use tool like mail chimp & to find the client i use TryTelescope AI, for crafting the email i use GPT4.

This tool is being really helpful to me to identify potential buyers and market trends efficiently. Combining these approaches will increase your chances of successful international business connections. Hope it helps.

    5. I attracted $3m in my event agency using the next tactic for cold email:

      1. Buy Godaddy domains (no more than 100 emails per day per domain)
      2. outlook mails
      3. email scraping from socleads
      4. Instantly warm-up and prospecting

      Try it and good luck!

What should i do to make money.
Time is money i have some time
      Any advice will be helpful🙏.

    7. Firstly, what kind of products are you looking to sell? Are you finding the right target audience for your product?Finding international B2B buyers for your products will involve leveraging various online platforms, networking opportunities, and strategic marketing efforts.

I see you’ve tried out Ali baba and LinkedIn, but what about Global sources? A platform similar to Alibaba, that’s focused on connecting suppliers with international buyers, particularly in Asia.

Another question would be, ‘Do you have an online presence? And also how strong is it?”

Sometimes, it’s not that you’re doing anything wrong, but when trying to make sales through online platforms, things take some time to kick off.
