Largest opportunities for these are in crypto markets – cross exchange arbing. Which to be clear isn’t pure arbitrage, there’s still risk involved via the exchanges providing markets on.
Actually a really interesting place for smaller accounts to play and make reasonable returns. Quickly priced out for larger accounts, I did a small pilot to test the concept in crypto but it wasn’t scalable to be a meaningful return on the time and effort against the entire portfolio.
