    1. Close to 10% of their revenue in one quarter. Not much for them but not negligible either.

From the article, it says one of the patent was invalidated by the patent office, so…the case would be appeal. They may still need to pay only $20m (x3) for the second patent they infringe.

So the article itself is bullish, the title of this post is intentionally bearish

Already read that somewhere on Friday before market opening, with no obvious reaction. I hope there won’t be any price effect tomorrow. Thanks for posting though!

with this market – stock will dip 5% in one day then rally 20% by end of week

apprently, the lawsuit involves patent ‘417 & ‘912 . ustpa ruled the claim of patent ‘912 is invalid on april 2024 in netlist vs. samsung, which netlist will appeal.

netlist has infringement lawsuits against samsung, googl, and hynix as well.

since the claim of patent ‘912 has been ruled invalid, the final amount may resulted to be around $100M.

    6. The 912 was IPR’d but the judge let the case proceed anyway. Netlist knew what they were doing with choice of venue, but it will bite them in the end.

Don’t expect the stock to even react to this at all, just my regarded Wendy’s dumpster opinion
