you had some great ideas that you know would be successful if you started them, what would you do? I retired young, have everything I need or want and most importantly have, what I consider, an amazing stress free life. ( No kids, pets, plants, watch, phone or debt = freedom) I specialized in retail and QSR concepts and since retiring 23 yrs ago spend my time traveling the world, seeking out new products along with different marketing and merchandising techniques. It’s more of a hobby and a past time now, as that is what my wife and I like to do for fun. Over the years we have developed a few new concepts and products and when we had an opportunity to test them in the marketplace they were a complete success. My problem is I have it too good now. Life is great and life is short and we don’t have the time, need the money or the stress to develop and scale another company – so what would you do with the concepts / ideas?

If you were a successful retired entrepreneur but….

I have a friend like this, very wealthy. He finds an entrepreneur and builds a team around them, finances the project and then mentors the team but does no actual day to day work. And obviously takes a large percentage.

Pick the ones that seem like they’d be fun to and you’d enjoy…. Launch is using money/profit as a metric of how well you’re doing – not as an increase in wealth….. When it gets boring or becomes more stress than it’s worth sell it and do the next one.

    3. My problem was the ideas I did have were relevant at the time, but I didn’t have the wherewithal to pursue them. Now, they exist 😢
