I was rear ended while I was sitting at a red light. I was diagnosed with a cervical neck sprain as (whiplash) as well as a sprained back which kept me out of work for a month exactly. Had physical therapy sessions as well. Obviously it depends on the persons coverage but realistically how much could I expect to get.(I do know they throw low balls)
