I was thinking about joining Felix Prehn from GOAT Academy because I like his options trading YouTube videos, but then I saw a YouTube video about him that really opened my eyes.

The video is very detailed and completely annihilated him.

A summary of what was said, includes:

    • Felix Prehn is a compulsive liar who lied about working as an investment banker.
    • Felix Prehn and Goat Academy's trading strategy is illogical and unprofitable, with a negative expected return (it’s actually not even close to being profitable, and it’s heavily skewed towards losing money)
    • Members have stated that the course materials are poorly organized and repetitive. Nothing new is taught in the course that you couldn't learn for free elsewhere.
    • Felix Prehn uses manipulative marketing tactics such as boasting about his lifestyle, using animals to gain his audience's trust and offering a fraudulent money-back guarantee and return policy that he does not honor
      • Members need to submit chargebacks to their credit card company and complain to their local government and law enforcement
    • Felix Prehn claims that his "banker friends" make "100% a year as their normal" – yet almost all hedge funds fail to beat the S&P 500.
      • If his fake "banker friends" made those returns then every one of them would be the richest people on earth within a short period of time.
    • Felix Prehn doesn't seem to understand basic options trading and makes numerous mistakes that even beginner traders would not make.
    • I do not believe that Felix Prehn actually trades, instead I believe he only engages in hypothetical trading. He also never shares his trading statements.

    1. He also attacked 3 other YouTubers, all of them have above 100k subscribers.

I’m in his program and for me at least it works.

It baffles me why anyone would pay a person or service to learn how to trade options when all that is needed is readily available for free online.

The best way for you to learn is to take a basics course ([Essential Options Trading Guide (investopedia.com)](https://www.investopedia.com/options-basics-tutorial-4583012)) and then start trading a beginner strategy like Covered Calls ([The Basics of Covered Calls (investopedia.com)](https://www.investopedia.com/articles/optioninvestor/08/covered-call.asp)). Many can be up and trading with a degree of success in a few weeks if they focus on it.

    3. If you put your money into something called the “GOAT” academy, I feel you deserved to get scammed. I believe we need people like Felix to help stupid people learn the hard way.

Oh, so Felix Prehn, a wanker, who claims to be a banker turns into a salesman and defrauds innocent people with a garbage trading strategy? Doesn’t that explain like 90% of the scammers on YouTube?

Beware of Felix Prehn and Goat Academy. Their trading “strategy” will cause you to lose money and Felix is a dangerous fraudster who will NOT honor the refund policy.
