Insurance deemed my car a total loss, I bought it back. It’s been a week and I looked up my vin on carfax & it still says clean title. Is this normal? How long does it take for it to update?
How long does a car take to show up as a rebuilt or total loss on a title?

Maybe an adjuster knows but also try asking r/autobody and r/askcarsales. Is your title salvage or no?
Depends on the State. Some states you have to take the paperwork to the DMV and do it yourself.
I dont have an answer as to how long it will take but just be aware a lot of companies will not provide physical damage coverage for a vehicle that has already been totaled. It wouldnt surprise me if some companies wont insure totalled vehicles at all. You could have a difficult time finding insurance on a car like this. No one has the answer you seek.
