It’s crazy to me that some of you think sub 4-5% interest rates are sustainable long term without printing oodles of money.
Over the last 50 years the government has only slashed rates super low three times…9/11, the 2008 crash, and covid. And the latter two came with a ton of quantitative easing.
The power of Fed speak is gone. Who can believe or trust anything that comes out of their mouths. They’re attention whores, not economists. Sad state of affairs.
