I am the COO of a dental office. As part of recent compensation negotions, the owner/dentist has requested Key Holder insurance on me. As I understand, this protects the office in the event I die or am otherwise disabled to the point I am unable to perform my role.
Since the owner is the only practicing dentist currently, (we will be opening another location/hiring a second dentist in the future) if she dies or becomes disabled and cannot practice dentistry, I would potentially be out of a job. Is there a form of keyholder insurance I can secure for myself as a beneficiary in the event that happens?
Thanks in advance!

Key person is bought by the company for the benefit of the company.
