So while my car was parked, a rental car flipped onto my car, doing damage to the front of my vehicle.
My vehicle is definitely probably totaled. And not worth much at all. KBB valued my car to be $575. I don’t have money, I don’t have good credit, I don’t have the ability to get a new car and I don’t know how any of this works.

    My insurance is geico.
Enterprise is the insurance for the rental car.

Enterprise wants to come and do an appraisal but I’m afraid they’re going to find my car totaled and not fix it

    Question:

Would my insurance also send someone out to do an appraisal? The last time I got into an accident I just sent pictures to the other person’s insurance (progressive) and they covered it all without sending someone out.

I don’t know what to do. I’m thinking of just going with my own insurance and having them fight for my deductible back but it’s not worth doing that if they also send someone out to do an appraisal.
