I got a speeding ticket a while ago and hired a lawyer and they got it reduced to a a non moving violation. Do I have to report it to insurance when they ask if I have a ticket? I think some say just ticket and others say ticket or violation for the same box. I’ve been saying that I don’t have anything on my record but could that come back to bite me?

Am I supposed to report a non moving violation as a ticket to insurance?
