If your accident involves another party, then yes you should contact your insurance. You don’t know if they are going to claim injuries and your delay could hamper your insurance from being able to properly defend you.
What are the circumstances of the accident?
Most insurance policies say you agree to notify them when there is an accident but many people don’t, depending on the circumstances.
