I purchased immediately and was able to drive into work. I lost my wheel and need both side doors and bumper repaired. I am on the policy for effective dates, but just sent the payment today after finding an email that says my coverage was cancelled, but let me send a payment to get it going starting today. No one was injured, it was reported and emergency vehicles put the spare in and we both got each others information.
Got hit and checked insurance and they stopped my coverage, while I am shown on the policy before the accident.

So are you saying you purchased the policy after an accident and tried to use it for the accident? If so, that’s insurance fraud. You can’t just purchase insurance once you have an accident and expect it to be covered and not recognized.
