Paying for Law School with Guard?

Unique situation, but wanted some insight if anyone could give me some answers (been having limited success finding things online).

Background: prior service Marine, 4 years active (2015-2019). Bachelors paid for with post 9/11 GI Bill. Post 9/11 all used up. Interested in becoming a Guard Officer and going to law school in whatever state would pay for it. I keep seeing NJ as an option but not interested in living there. Any other states? Assuming Texas maybe?

Side note: education service lady I talked to said that federal TA can’t be applied to law school. Any truth in this? Thanks.
