Hello,

I greatly apologize if this isn’t the right place for this. But couldn’t find anywhere else.

But, after a few weeks of chasing down the manager of a towing company I was able to get them to agree to a settlement, pending me getting them a few estimates. Cool. However, they want me to sign a release that pretty much says (in my understanding) “after repairs are made we’re off the hook”. I have concerns of possible exhaust issues later down the line, and this same thing was even mentioned by the person reviewing my vehicle for one of the estimates.

I also believe that there is the question of depression as I purchased this vehicle brand 3 years ago. I’m not out to make a killing or even close, just what’s actually fair.

Any advise here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for reading 🙏🏾

I don’t see how this is insurance related? Why was your vehicle damaged while being towed? If you are worried then don’t sign it but at least they’re accepting fault. Many deny and it’s hard to prove.

    2. Having someone sign a release of liability is standard practice when you are paying them damages.
