Basically what the title says
I was using my dads car and hit a pole when trying to get gas
He has multiple vehicles, I have insurance on one of the vehicles (which is basically my car) but I had to use his vehicle (I dont have insurance on that) while getting gas.
Just wanted to ask for advice on how to deal with this? Thank you sorry if question is not very specific can clarify in comments.

You don’t have Insurance on it but does he?
Not every company excludes unlisted household members. You can try and file a claim under his policy for that vehicle and they may still pay it minus his deductible. Won’t know until you ask but you should be on the policy going forward.
