I just paid off my car early (could have paid it off a while ago but my monthly pmt and interest rate were so low I didn’t bother until I realized it might die before the end of my loan) and I’m wondering if I can drop comprehensive and/or collision? It’s still my daily driver but it needs repairs that would cost more than it’s worth (~$1500) to fix. I’m really just driving it til it dies and hoping to save a little money in the mean time. Is there any reason I should keep the comp and collision coverage?

Can I drop comprehensive and collision?

    1. If you get hit by an uninsured driver or were the victim of a hit and run, car stolen, a tree fell one it, or you hit an animal on the road you will get nothing from insurance. Can you replace it tomorrow?
