Morning everyone, I come from a heavily Army and Marine Corps family but let my ego to the side and decided to join the AF (would prefer Army tbh but I also want my life after enlistment with a career with a salary of more than $120k and to also travel in the future). I'm not really close to my family that was/are in the military, but I really would love to those who are serving or have served to kinda give me some tips, especially financially. I have heard about the Active Duty AMEX card that has really good benefits so I would appreciate any of the tips I can get.

AMEX PLATINUM CARD FOR ACTIVE DUTY.

Amex current waives annual fees for those that are active duty. They are not required to, but are doing it at this time.

Google “Amex platinum card benefits”. Please search this sub for info. Seems like you are asking an insanely broad question.

    3. Get the Gold card first so you can get sign up bonuses on both. If you can’t spend enough to get the sign up bonuses, I’d personally recommend waiting to get the cards until you can spend enough.
