Recently a large tree in my yard was blown over by some storms, and as the tree went over the roots of the tree moved with it and bent and broke an underground utility line. My adjuster is saying this damage isn't covered since the tree didn't hit it. I responded that the tree did cause the loss because the roots did the damage. The adjuster's response to that was that they needed to look into it. So, do y'all think I have coverage for this?

    1. I’d argue that it should be covered unless there’s policy language specifically excluding it somehow. The tree fell and part of the tree damaged a thing.
