I would like to get the car insurance individually- not conjoined with my family. I have a credit score of 700. I have a clean record and the car is paid off. Would appreciate your advice.

If I were 18 I’d find an independent agent to sit down with. They shop you to multiple companies and will explain what coverages you need and why. This is valuable information to have as assumptions can and will backfire.
