Hey guys, I’m looking to purchase a property in Italy. I was wondering if anyone can explain to me what would happen to the OHA that I am entitled to. Currently living in the local economy receiving about €1778 OHA and €1583 utilities. I read somewhere online that OHA will still continue based on this formula: purchased price / 120. Which is a little shocking to me because the property I plan to get is €635k / 120 = €5625… the rate I fall in per the calculator is OHA: €1778 + €1583 = €3361… that’s a €2264 difference. I mean I won’t be complaining if I get €5625 monthly so if anyone is willing to clarify, please do so!

Can you get an Italian bank to lend you the mortgage?
My understanding is that in order to receive OHA you need to be on the loan.
