A follow-up question to tree on car from yesterday

Thanks again to all who commented despite my critical error. I cancelled my renter’s claim and my girlfriend has filed a claim with her auto insurance. However, no rental, which brings me to my next question (which I think I know the answer to).

Property manager is being cagey with insurance and liability information when asked by my girlfriend. She’s obviously upset and needs to get a rental, so I was wondering if the apartment complex (owned by Fairfield Residential) is liable to pick up the rental while her car is being repaired. I could see arguments either way so wanted to ask experts.
