Hey if anyone is a pro at the VA loans I have a few questions

I read USAA is not stellar, so are there any better companies out there?

I want to get a home ASAP less than two years till retirement, and my spouse will live there alone. Do I transfer the loan to my spouse? Or do I just add them? How does that work? If my spouse decides to move back with me and I still keep my property is that ok? I have no intention of renting to anyone. I will never rent. I would leave the home with family to check on it and security cameras instead and still pay the bills and utilities. Trying to learn about the VA loan because i never used it before.

Any tips and ideas will be great. I don’t want to retire and be left without a home which is why I want to buy now.

Excellent credit and no debt. Still have a GI Bill not used (I used TA for my degrees instead). I want to transfer GI to my spouse and use the BAH to help pay for the mortgage in addition to my spouse and I both work. If that info helps not sure

What is the best VA lender

    1. Was real pleased with NKBC!

VA loan you have to have the intent to live in it for atleast one year.
