Unemployment for military retirees.

I’m in Texas and was on a government contract that just ended. I collect VA disability and my retirement pension. Can I still collect unemployment? I’d call the state but when you call the Texas Workforce Commission if someone isn’t available the call just drops so you have to get lucky.
