Is it possible to split up the overseas housing allowance to lease two privately owned places if the combined total is less than the allocated amount?

That’s a new one. Why?
The Regulation states that OHA can only be paid for the residence that the servicemember commutes from daily. That would be hard to do from multiple locations.
