My wife (civilian) and I are doing our first PCS in a couple month and the rental market is crazy so we are looking for PCS or other money tips we could legally use to our advantage. One example is traveling to the new duty location on separate days for a bit extra per diem/lodging on travel days since we are doing a conus to conus move with 3 authorized travel days. We are doing a partial PPM (formerly "DITY" move) and are getting an advance on our DLA.
