So I'm currently stationed in Alaska but getting out soon and looking at houses. The area I would like to live in has some really good sections of land for sale with no actual houses. Very good price however they're wooded and would need to be cleared for a house.
My question is, am I able to use my VA Loan for land? I've read different things about it. Some say you can't and some say you can if you put a house on it, I was honestly just considering buying the land and clearing it and throwing a single wide on it.
Any advice or thoughts?
