27 year old active duty USAF E-5 at 8.5 years of service here. Been maxing out a Vanguard Roth IRA since 2021 and am currently contributing 20% of base pay to Roth TSP.

I was curious where our balances were with the market going the way it is and figured out they just went over the $100k mark about a week ago or so! We're a dual income household with no kids yet, so that has certainly helped, but we've also had no car payments since 2018 and only had about $11k of college debts to pay off.

Just wanting to highlight that you can definitely have financial success even if you're not making dual mil officer money, if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Just hit $100k in retirement savings!
