I am stationed in Texas and a friend will there TDY for pilot training.
How can I legally have them stay in my house, while still collecting per diem.

AFAIK they can still collect per diem, but their DTS voucher needs to reflect that lodging was provided so they only collect the MI&E not the full daily rate.
