I am looking to invest in any publicly traded company that will make money off AI waifus/girlfriends. Most of the companies that develop apps like Replika don't seem to be publicly traded.

I've seen so many lonely losers on reddit that I am sure there are billions of dollars to be made off AI waifus. Heck the other day I saw a news article about an divorced older man who picked up an AI girlfriend. People on reddit always complain about how horrible dating apps are. But you can't get rejected by AI. With AI waifus, all I see are are dollar signs.

Right now there is a big stigma against AI companionship, but I believe this will lessen over time. This isn't priced in yet.

    Recommendations?

    1. I’d have to agree, seems like a win win for everyone. Desperate men and us regards who are trying to buy lambos. I don’t even know where to begin with a stock like this but seems like a great investment. Eventually AI and VR will mature. Together they will make $$$$.

    2. You got some balls to say that the Reddit crowd can’t get rejected by AI girlfriends. Even AI girls have some standards, not much, but still a little.

I completely agree. It’ll start like any “bad” behavior. You try it out on a lark as some kinda “dumb thing”. You joke about how stupid it is/was. Then you try it again for “laughs”. Then you get addicted to it. Then you start to rationalize it. Then it’s just a part of you and when you try to stop you just can’t. Then you stop trying to quit and just accept that this is your life now, and you’re OK with it.

    4. It’s just NVIDIA again. People run AI chat bots locally using SillyTavern or similar on consumer GPUs. 8b uncensored models run great on a 16GB card.

    5. My AI gf made me buy a new pc so we could run her bf on it. Now I gotta pay for the electric bills or they gonna kick me out. If it wasn’t for those mythical feet pic it can make. ……

lmfo, laugh at first but I think it is a sad reality that will come or has arrived. I think first it’s best invest to invest in the usually suspects of the AI field. The robotic advancement by Figure AI are impressive and it’s only a matter of time until the Japanese get a hand on it, so any Japanese company in the entertainment industry or robotics. I have the feeling that Hatsune Miku will be the first Waifu robot, watch the holographic concerts of her on YouTube, the Japanese are crazy after her. But this will take like 10-20 years, and the androids will be expensive as luxury cars, so not many people will be able to afford it, especially the people from lower economic class that will need these androids.

I think in the short term it will be VR, the Zuckerberg may have been right, if waifus are coming to VR, as atheist, God please protect the reproductive future of the human race.

You have to get into the Chinese stock market. Or pre ipo market might have replika or the like.

    8. >Right now there is a big stigma against AI companionship

Just wait for AI Waifu being integrated in all mobile Gachas games

If they get a sex-bot that cooks, cleans and you can turn it off/mute… it’ll make women obsolete.

But with competition, women will have to lower their standards and have to settle with average men. An overweight woman won’t be able to open Tinder and select from the 1000s who want to have intercourse with her and think that any of them want a real relationship.

Invest in Cover Corp (Hololive), they’re exploring the metaverse and are well-positioned to take advantage of parasocial relationships in English markets.
