This webinar will serve as an introduction to what Blockchain is and how it’s been used. Introduction to what Blockchain is, how it’s been used in financial markets as well as the potential for use in energy markets, and LO3 Use Cases. We will also hear the Illinois government’s perspective, the current stage of the market, and learn about the Illinois Blockchain Initiative. We’ll hear from experts Lawrence Orsini from the LO3 Project as well as Jennifer O’Rourke at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The discussion will be led by Commissioner Nick Wagner from the Iowa Utilities Board.
