One of my friends got married a while back his wife had her own place and was renting it for 6 months. Homie couldn’t afford it and flew her somewhere else to live with family. He’s trippin out because he made a package for dependent location bah for his wife with her old lease but changed the dates so that it seems like it’s still active but it ended 4 months ago. He’s trying to get her over to his duty station and live off base but was hoping to get back pay to help pay off his debt and turn it off once she gets there. Will his command find out? Dose the military investigate dependent bah packages with a “valid lease”?
