    1. Come on, they damaged Delta’s brand on their own, dont blame your bad image on Crowdstrike.

    2. No_Abbreviations_259 on

Was there really 500M worth of brand there to be damaged in the first place?

    3. They should keep that big dick energy and try the same tact with Boeing. Might end up with a case of Deadstein from Gates or Whistle-blower Flu from Boeing. Let the rich eat the rich…

    5. Delta is a shit airline run by shit leadership. Passing the blame is their specialty. CEO should resign after what they did to people whos flights were canceled. Other airlines managed somehow.

Idk what they can claim if I’m being real. I’m sure majority of the negligence was them out sourcing IT

yeah Delta just now got brand damage. I take back everything I said about CRWD now. As if Airlines weren’t already pieces of shit. what a dumbass CEO.

    8. Maybe if they paid IT more than literal pennies compared to the average job market, they’d have been in a better situation to fix the issues. Instead, they got what they paid for.

      Sincerely,

    9. I used to fly a lot for work till 2019 and almost always used Delta. Thought they were the best domestic airline. What’s changed ??

Why was inept Delta the only airline down for a fucking week? Look at Theranos verdict with their new lawyer. This lawsuit isn’t going anywhere. Best I can do is a $10 Uber eats gift card and rebook you on a later flight. Go fuck yourself.

    11. Delta damaged their brand all by themselves based on how they treated their customers. I should know, they fucked over me and my family.

    12. Why are we still calling this also a “Microsoft” outage? I mean, sure it’s their OS that crashed but it was because of the stupid “fancy AV” update.

    13. Jumpstart_411 on

It seems this is consistent with their brand. Funny they don’t have any remorse when they cost passengers due to their delay or cancelations.

    14. If a potato farm gets wrecked by a storm, is it the farmers fault? Would McDonald’s sue them? No because that’s stupid. Delta has no one to blame, they accepted the risk when they installed windows 98

Deltas first class reminds me when I got a hand job on a jet blue flight from a tranny

As someone that has flown Delta on business more times than I can count, noooo, they’ve always somewhat sucked. As someone in IT I’ll also say that the CRWD debacle was caused at most companies because their CIO isn’t worth the daily sh** they take because they didn’t demand a test bed for it to ensure any updates were sound before rolling them out, or it was the rest of the board that refused to pay for such a thing.

CRWD was a failure in best practices all the way around. That last update never should have made it out their door, and if you know how to run an IT shop it should have never made it IN yours.
