E2 with one dependent adult driving to my new duty station next year from Mississippi to Little Rock 428 miles. My stuff weighs about 1500lbs and I also have a gtc (government travel card). I’ll be getting a rental for $1400 and hotel and food might come to about $300-$400 gas may be $120 at most. What can I use the gtc for in regards to the expenses I’ve mentioned and is there a way to get an estimate for my move?

You’re only going to be authorized 2 travel days. Which will only be 1 night in a hotel. So only about $100 to $120 for hotel. Food maybe the same amount.
In all honesty, that’s 6 to 7 hour drive.

If you want an estimate, go to transportation.

    2. Each branch is a bit different. Your Transportation Office/TMO/Personal Property can give you an estimate on the PPM authorized expenses such as a moving truck rental, boxes, etc.

Expenses such as hotel and food are part of your travel claim, so that’s totally separate. In general, you can use your GTC for any authorized expense. If you’re not sure what those are your Relocation Assistance or your finance office should be able to go over it with you.
