Hello all, I'm down a rabbit hole and getting lost a bit lol. I recently got accepted to navy OCS (currently enlisted) and will have a lengthy training pipeline after ocs. I'm familiar with how bah will work while I'm in ocs but not sure how it works during my follow on training. I'd like to leave my spouse at my current location so she can continue school, and still receive bah for that location. I've done this as enlisted while oconus but not sure if it still works in this situation. DOD FMR volume 7a mentions FSH but I can't find the criteria for it. Thanks!

    1. If you’re going active duty and your training is a PCS, you do not get BAH for the dependent’s location. The Navy isn’t separating you, you are.
