Hello, I recently applied on VA. gov about 2 weeks ago for my transferred chapter 33 GI bill benefits. I keep checking the status and I was wondering if they will show my certificate of eligibility or give me any idea of it being processed and being sent in the mail when it's done?

There's some disclaimer that says it won't show for dependents but this is my own VA. gov account so I'm not sure if that was aimed at me or not.

My classes start on the 26th and I've been trying to get everything worked out before then. Thank you

    1. I tried to add spaces in-between the VA website to not make it a link but it still did. I hope that’s ok.

va.gov won’t show anything on the status of your application. It’s not set up to show application status like it does for va disability claims. The application normally is processed within 30 days and you get the Certificate of Eligibility letter within 30 days – if it has been more than 30 days, call 1-888-442-4551.

It doesn’t matter if you are the veteran or a dependent using their own account – no status will show for an application.
