I am unfortunately ETS’ing soon due to a MEB. I already printed off the BRC for MED Sep/Ret and for the HHG’s however, I am trying to maximize the amount I receive from DTS as I am planning on driving to my HOR from FT Bliss is there any other entitlements/ pays that I can get?
(Also Final determination was unfit however I do not know VA or DoD ratings yet)

Got a pickup? Rent a UHaul trailer and carry the most ridiculously heavy items you own. Bags of cement, any bricks, etc.
Are you planning to live at your HOR? If you retire, you’re entitled to a Home of Selection move and the government will pay for you to go almost anywhere.
You don’t use DTS for PCS moves (which includes separation/retirement). If you don’t know how to file your final travel claim or set up your final move, talk to your installation’s Relocation Assistance program.
If you’re able and interested, some people are able to pocket some money by doing a PPM and doing all the labor for moving their HHGs themselves.
